Tess qualified from Newcastle dental school in 1988.
She recently completed a four year Master's Degree in Clinical Dentistry which focused mainly on restorative and cosmetic dentistry as well as removable prosthetics (dentures).
Tess has worked in general practice in Hove firstly as a vocational trainee and then as an associate for 10 years.
During this time she was involved with a small charity delivering dental care to children in orphanages in Romania. At the time she was sponsorship secretary for the local British Dental Association for 5 years. She then worked in Australia for three years as lead clinician for the community dental services which included providing dental care for local Aboriginal communities.
Tess enjoys all aspects of dentistry but is particularly interested in cosmetic work and the treatment of tooth wear cases. She has been involved in a complex dentistry scheme in West Sussex.
Tess also has experience in treating nervous and anxious patients and undertook a 6 week course in cognitive behaviour therapy.
In her spare time she enjoys running, cycling, gardening, drawing and piano playing.
