Frans joined the practice in 2017 and is now the managing director of Rottingdean Dental care , taking on ownership in October 2025 to Rottingdean Dental Care.
Frans is doubly qualified as a Doctor and Dentist, the required pathway to become a Maxillofacial Surgeon.
Working in a local practice and the Royal Sussex County Hospital after completing his dental degree at Bristol University made him realise that he preferred the continuity of care that comes with treating patients in general practice.
He was awarded the prize for best regional case presentation. In addition he has had several papers published, made presentations at the British Association of Head and Neck Oncology and has been involved in tutoring dental students and foundation dentists.
Frans held a position as a specialist dentist in the department of Restorative Dentistry at The Royal Sussex County Hospital and Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital. Providing dental treatment for head and neck cancer patents and for children and adults with congenitally missing teeth.
In his spare time Frans enjoys running, cycling and spending time with his wife and children.
