I qualified at Guy’s Hospital Dental School, University of London in 1989 and have obtained a postgraduate Diploma in Restorative Dental Practice at Eastman Dental Institute, University College London, with Distinctions in my final exams.
Professional Background:
- I have worked in Sussex since 1990 and moved to Brighton after graduation with Lisa. In general practice in Worthing as an associate and vocational trainer for ten years.
- I have been actively involved in the Faculty of General Dental Practice of the Royal College of Surgeons and its role for professional developments and postgraduate education. I obtained my membership by examination in 1998. I have previously been an Honorary Secretary and Regional Director of the Faculty.
- I came to work with Lisa (my wife) at Rottingdean in 2000 to be closer to home with our then young family. We became owners of the practice in 2001 and quickly became the first practice in Sussex to hold both national quality standards BDA Good Practice and Investors in People.
- I then obtained further postgraduate education at the prestigious Eastman Postgraduate Dental Institute (UCL) and passed my DRDP following a five year course.
Professional Special Interests:
- Cosmetic dentistry and restorative dentistry involving implants.
- Caring for nervous patients.
- Member of the East Sussex and Brighton Local Dental Committee.
- Preventive Dentistry
Personal Interests:
- I enjoy spending with my family, swimming, walking, gardening, theatre, opera, and music of all kinds.
- I follow Sussex CCC, Harlequins RFC and the Albion!
- I am a governor of St Aubyns School.
